# AI Visibility Scan — PageCoder

> A free web tool that checks whether AI search engines and language models
> (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Google AI Overviews, Gemini) can read, understand
> and cite a website. It measures GEO / AEO readiness, then runs real web-search
> queries to see whether AI actually names the brand or names competitors instead.

Built by PageCoder (pagecoder.ai), a privacy-first AI studio founded in 2026 in
Slovakia, operating as Medialink s.r.o. We scan only the public URL the visitor
enters. No tracking cookies, no third-party sharing, EU-based.

## What the tool measures

- **Readiness (0–100)** — how easily an AI can read, understand and quote a page:
  headings, structured data, quotable passages, and whether AI crawlers are
  allowed in at all. On-page only; it does not predict citation.
- **Visibility** — real questions are put to a live AI with web search, and each
  answer is classified: *named* (the brand appears in the answer), *used your
  page but didn't name you* (the page is in the citations, the name is not in the
  text), or *not named*.
- **Footprint** — whether the model can describe the brand from training memory
  alone, with no page in front of it.
- **Share of voice** — how often the brand is named against the most-named
  competitor across the same questions.

## What we are honest about

- AI answers are sampled and non-deterministic. One run is a reading; the trend
  is the result. Results that do not hold a majority of samples are marked
  unstable rather than reported as fact.
- Perfect on-page optimisation does not guarantee citation. On-page work makes a
  site eligible; off-site presence decides it, and that takes weeks.
- We separate what is measured from what is estimated, and we never inflate a
  problem to sell a fix.
