Privacy Tour is an interactive, five-level walk-through of browser fingerprinting: how your browser identifies you across sites without a single cookie, who buys that identity, and what actually stops it. It runs on demo data by default and only reads your real fingerprint if you explicitly consent.

What browser fingerprinting is.

Your screen size, fonts, timezone, graphics card and dozens of smaller signals combine into an identifier that is close to unique — and unlike a cookie, you cannot delete it. That is why blocking cookies alone changes far less than people expect.

The tour cites its sources — BrowserGate, the EFF and the IAB among them — so every claim can be checked rather than taken on trust.
